We stayed at the Retreat for 9 days. We were a family of 10. Some adults and some children. There are no words to describe what a beautiful and luxurious huge house this is. Each bedroom has been furnished and decorated to the highest degree with matching decor, cushions and throws and each with it's own ensuite. The beds are really generous in size and so comfortable. The living room is really spacious with gorgeous and comfortable sofas. Lots of board games for rainy days. The dining room is in the conservatory and has a magnificent oak table with comfortable chairs. As we had taken the entire property we had access to the amazing commercial kitchen which has everything you need for catering needs. The garden is absolutely massive with a lake and a stream, a swing and tables and bench sets that was perfect to relax in when that weather was nice. These words do not do justice to the property. It's well worth going for a visit to actually experience it!! Some lovely walks around the gorgeous countryside and we enjoyed seeing the cattle in the surrounding area. There is a lovely manager Tina who keeps the Retreat up to a wonderful standard. And we had the most fantastic communication with Debbie who owns the property and was so accommodating and easygoing about everything.
